We are very pleased that the Spider Crab has scuttled into the game. Spider Crabs look pretty fierce. They have the longest leg span of any crab! We’re not sure if we would like on IRL, but the Adopt Me version is very cute. They were released in the Japan egg on the 8th of September 2022. They are no longer in game, and are ultra-rare, so you should see a few of them around.

What is a Spider Crab worth in Adopt Me on the dog/cat scale?
If you don’t know about the dog/cat scale – you should read our article that explains how to value pets on Adopt Me. The dog/cat scale allows you to easily compare the value of your pets, toys, and vehicles and work out if a trade is fair (roughly). We aim to score all pets using the dog/cat scale. The scale basically expresses how many dogs (or cats) you need to trade for a pet. So a very common pet like a Buffalo would only score 1 on the dog/cat scale. That means you could trade a Buffalo for just one dog or one cat. Whereas a shadow dragon would score 1000, which means it would take 1000 dogs (or cats) to trade up to a Shadow Dragon.
So what is the Spider Crab Adopt Me value on the dog/cat scale? We think a Spider Crab is worth just 5 dog/cats. That’s the the same as other out-of-game ultra-rare pets like the Leopard Cat or Trapdoor Snail.
